President Aria decides that he should help with the late
summer cleaning but ends up only getting in the way. When he does try to help, he ends up making
more messes for Alicia and Akari to clean up.
|
Melted hulk. |
Since President Aria was bothering Alicia and Akari while
they were cleaning, he thought that he could cook for them instead. President
Aria mixes in a variety of ingredients into a stew and ends up making and
inedible green stew.
|
The ocean looks nice today. |
President Aria tries his hand at cleaning once again by airing
out the cloths outside but slips while doing so and pulls down all the cloths.
The cloths then float in the water.

President work. |
|
Packing light. |
|
Anywhere except the place you came from. |
After screwing up so many times, President Aria gets
depressed and types out a message telling Alicia and Akari not to look for
him. President Aria packs up his doll,
some food and leaves. Right before he leaves to go out into town, he turns back
because he realizes that he has nowhere to go.
|
Told you. |
When President Aria returns, he sees that Alicia and Akari
have noticed his letter. They both read it and figure that President Aria left
so he wouldn't get in their way. This causes President Aria to get depressed
and he leaves for town without turning back.
|
Friend? |
|
No. |
President Aria climbs up a tower and sits at the top. A
seagull lands next to him and he tries to make friends with it. President Aria
takes some of his emergency food and gives it to the seagull. The seagull
instead goes for the bigger portion of food but President Aria takes it away
and then the seagull leaves him alone again.
|
Oh my. |
Moving to a lower area, President Aria hangs out by the sea
but is soon kidnapped by a little girl. The little girl asks her parents if she
can keep him and take him back to Man-Home but this scares President Aria and
he makes a swift escape.
|
There's a reason why he didn't do this first. |
|
Can't match up to Aika's manliness. |
The next idea that pops into his head is that he should see
President Hime since she should be in a similar situation. President Aria goes
to see her but he sees Aika playing with her and having a good time. This
discourages President Aria and he goes back home.
|
*sniff* |
|
Now you just look silly Akari. |
President Aria stays on the roof and when dinnertime comes,
Akari and Alicia go out to look for him. They find him on the roof and conclude
that he was here the entire time because he couldn't come down.
|
Good job! |
Alicia makes omelette rice for dinner to celebrate the end
of cleaning day and she also alters President Aria's soup so it is edible.
Analysis:
This episode is about how President Aria runs away from home
because he felt that he was unneeded. He ends up coming back home because he
has nowhere else to go. When he came back home, he was greeted with a smile and
a great meal. President Aria felt welcomed back home like nothing happened.
The theme of this part of the episode is that there is no
place like home. President Aria wasn't able to fit in anywhere when he ran away
and had nowhere to go. When he came back home, Alicia and Akari accepted him
back with no problems.
This part of the episode is called "That Depressed President" because it was all about President Aria while he was depressed.
